Alright, new website… new blog format… first REAL blog entry!

I just got back from playing a couple of shows in Southern Colorado and had a lovely time.  There are some fun folks down there to be sure, and everyone was most friendly.  I played in Lamar to a very enthusiastic crowd, they laughed at all of my silly jokes and seemed to have a good time all-around.  The next morning I played a benefit concert for the Spanish Peaks Library, which is in Walsenburg, CO.  This was a children’s show, so we talked about all of the instruments, and what it’s like to be a musician, and one adorable child who when asked at the end (during the Q&A part of the show) if she had any questions… announced that her mommy was going to have a new baby.

All in all, it was a very fun time and I was very glad to make the trip!  I have some new names to add to my mailing list and then… I think it’s time for a kilted newsletter!

See you down the road…

-Matt
